Caregivier Support

Caring for someone with physical, emotional, or cognitive needs can be a deeply fulfilling but often overwhelming experience. My therapy services are dedicated to providing the support caregivers need to manage stress, find balance, and preserve their mental and emotional well-being.

More on Caregiver Support

Through compassionate, individualized therapy, I offer caregivers a safe space to explore their feelings, reduce burnout, and develop coping strategies. I help caregivers navigate the complexities of their role, offering tools to foster resilience, improve self-care, and manage feelings of guilt or anxiety. My goal is to empower caregivers to continue providing care while maintaining their own health, happiness, and sense of self.

Whether you are new to caregiving or have been in the role for years, I am here to support you every step of the way.

My Approach

01
In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you, exploring your history, support systems, and any additional relevant information to better understand your unique situation. It is helpful to gain an understanding of your caregiving role, the relationship between you and the person you care for, and what struggles you are experiencing.
02
In our therapy sessions, I’ll provide a supportive space for you to navigate the emotional challenges of providing care for someone and the dual-role that caregivers often find themselves in.
03
Together, we’ll explore your feelings, discuss coping strategies, and work on building resilience, helping you find a way to care for yourself and someone else in a healthy way.

In a first therapy session, you can expect a welcoming and confidential environment where you can share your thoughts and feelings. I will typically begin by discussing your background and the reasons you're seeking therapy including current struggles and starting to explore goals. The session is an opportunity for you to ask questions and express any concerns you may have about the therapy process.  Overall, the first session is about establishing rapport, understanding your needs, and laying the foundation for your therapeutic journey. It’s a safe space to begin exploring your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance directly, but I can provide superbills for my clients. These superbills can be submitted to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement, depending on your plan's benefits. Please reach out to your insurer's member services to inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network mental health providers.

What platform do you use for telehealth?
